Really though. Those girls sure are kind of annoying. Like, just because Tachibana is so handsome, labelled as a glasses prince, smart, can do everything and all that stuff, it doesn't mean that his partner also has to be physically beautiful and unreachable right??
Sigh....... I really hate those kinds of perspective, where people, like those girls, categorized a couple as a 'Good Couple' or an 'Acceptable-to-Their-Eyes-Couple' if the two of them are on the same level (mainly physically) or if that couple is pleasant to be looked at by their eyes. Like , 'Look, there is a handsome man over there! OMG OMG his lover must be a A SUPER GORGEOUSLY BEAUTIFUL WOMAN THAT WILL SHINE IN THE NIGHT LIKE A BEAUTIFUL STAR, blah blah blah'. This kind of perspective will obviously hurt a very delicate person who has a low self-confidence like Subaru. Even if Subaru is actually such an ADMIRABLE, ADORABLE, AND CUTE-TO-THE-MAX CINNAMON ROLL that would NEVER think badly about the other people (even if those jerks are keep bad-mouthing him and spreading such a useless and unreasonable rumors about him), and instead putting all the blame to himself, but he still doesn't realize all of these charming points that make Tachibana FALL MADLY IN LOVE with him. So that, cruel words such as that kind of expectation from the other people would obviously makes him driven to the corner and thinks if he is worthy to be seen as Tachibana's lover or not. BUT HE OF COURSE HE IS WORTHY! HE IS THE CUTEST UKE THAT TACHIBANA COULD EVER WISHED FOR. SUCH A SINCERE AND DELICATE PERSON LIKE THE RAREST JEWEL THAT COULD BE FOUND IN THE MANGA WORLD! But it is such a sad thing that Subaru himself still doesn't realize that. My heart always feel so clenched and wrecked whenever I saw Subaru got depressed over Tachibana's popularity among those girls or when he thinks too lowly about himself ;w;. I mean, whenever Subaru saw Tachibana being surrounded by the girls (like that scene in the earlier chapter at the school gate and at the festival), or when he saw Tachibana being confessed to, he would immediately backs away and he even said it himself when Tachibana got a (fake) confession from Gou that he is a hidrance for Tachibana, and quickly run away. It is as if he is ready to do ANYTHING for Tachibana for the sake of protecting Tachibana's happiness even if it means that he is sacrificing himself and would be the one that got heartbroken. OMG MY HEART HURTS JUST BY WRITING THESE ;w;.
Mouuuuuuu...... Subaru really SHOULD realize that he IS the MAIN REASON for Tachibana's happiness since the beginning so that he would stop thinking too lowly about himself (because it hurts ;w;).
Geeezzz… those girls really should be more sensitive towards the other peoples' feeling. And they should STOP categorizing the couples based only on their physical appearance. And anyway, the way Tachibana chooses his lover is NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS anyway, so they should (seriously) BACK OFF.

Seriously... HE IS MORE THAN JUST AN ANGEL!! So so soooo pure! He doesn't like it when people fights... he even protects people nonetheless!

But real talk here, Tachibana already had no problem whatsoever announcing their relationship in the first chapter, so. This is all Subaru not having any confidence ='D If anything, I'd only think that Tachibana wouldn't pick Subaru because it'd make Subaru uncomfortable.
Aaaawww~ You know what, I do like his sad face too but the people around him is annoying... huhuhuuu~ but then I do agree with you about Subaru not having confidence. Well it's not his fault for thinking like that since only Tachibana sees his true beauty. Poor little baby... huuu~
