๐Ÿ˜ž๐Ÿ˜žFORGIVE ME BUT I HAVE TO SAY THIS๐Ÿ˜ž๐Ÿ˜ž

Hi guys~ well nope I don't have any new update on the next chapter yet until next Saturday ๐Ÿ˜ฐ ahahaha... Anyway I just wanna say something about my translation which is I'm not quite proud of. Since I've read and seen some readers especially from mangago.com website aren't really fond of my translation. Sorry but let me get things straight so that everyone could understand my struggles and hurdles in this translation project. Before I start my explanation I would like to remind you all that I'm not picking a fight with anybody, I'm just defending myself from being stressed out...

1. I'm doing everything alone

2. I downloaded the raws from aarinfantasy.com/forum (if you need the raws just go to the link and search for Kijima)

3. I only have level 1 formal Japanese lesson and cert and I am self studying the language by chatting with other Japanese friends online. They helped me a lot in understanding Japanese terms better.

4. I never had any intention to do this professionally since I'm doing this just FOR FUN! That's why I never watermarked or put any sign saying I'm the one who translated this. I did this so that everyone else could enjoy reading them ASAP like me.

5. English is not my first language nor Japanese. So that's why sometimes I have this hard time to figure out what's the best translation for that certain words. Even okaeri and tadaima would give me a headache sometimes. You can see my translation are so haywired because I don't like to westernize the way the characters speak to each other. I'll take away the mood if I do that.

6. I have my RL job to maintain so I don't give much attention to this translation project since it's just a hobby of mine. Nothing serious.

7. I never want to find any group of people to help me do things because I'm not working in group. I'm a lone ranger. I dunno how to cooperate that much. So forgive me if I refuse to accept the help you guys' offered before. I'm very sorry. I don't want to work in stress. That's why I don't have a proofreader or cleaner or whatever it is you name it... I am comfortable working alone...

I hope everyone will understand why is my translation is kinda crappy after this... I never force anybody to read my translation. All I did was just promoting it and people who likes my translation would read it and those who don't, no worries I never force you to read them. Just one thing... don't complain... that's all I'm asking.

You can do whatever you want with my translation but NO BASHING! COMPLAINING! OR INSULTING! I seeeeeriously don't mind at all if you guys prefer the other formal translation groups, cuz I'm the same too ๐Ÿ˜Š

  1. I don't understand why those people were not satisfied about your translation. I mean, me myself, as a reader, who desperately trying to find an english version for this awesome series, was REALLY GRATEFUL for finding such a kind, friendly, and very nice translator like you, who was willing to translate this series NOT FOR PROFIT, but for make us happy and could enjoy this series as much as you do. I'm veeeeerrryy lucky to find such a sweet and kind-hearted translator like you, who is willing to share your happiness with us. As a reader, I really am grateful for being able to meet you. And I really am very satisfied with your translation. REALLY โ™ก. As a translator who did EVERYTHING ALONE, such as scanning, translating, etc, you are able to make such high quality translations that equals with the other translations which have been produced by a group of people. That's why I prefer to read your translation instead of the other website, since I really admire and adore all the hardwork that you've done in translating this series. You should be more proud of yourself, because as a reader, I rarely meet such a generous translator like you o(^โ–ฝ^)o. That's why keep up such a great work owo/

    I'll always support you (เน‘โ€ขฬ€ใ…‚ โ€ขฬ)ูˆ โœง

  2. รŒ have to say this. I appreciate all your hardwork and I understand your struggles. I can clean but I can't translate a single character. I was confused when I saw that this manga was way ahead but I saw another group working in this but on a much slower pace. Someone pointed me towards this site fr the more recent updates and I thank you for your hard work.

I came across another scanlation grp who picked up an abandoned manga and I was really happy for it until they got the same kind of bashing you did and they decided to quit. I had to beg and offerred my help so that they could keep on working on it. And they did! So please, just keep doing what you're doing. You're doing a good job so far. Gambatte!

    1. Thank you so much ^_^ No worries I will continue what I'm doing right now~ its just that for me the readers themselves are my proofreaders so... if I ever made a mistake in my translation just point it out and I'd be thankful for that~ <3

  4. I agree as much as what people are saying here! I really appreciate your hard work with the translation! Especially the fact that you can translate and edit so fast alone and post every Saturday. Also considering the fact that you also have a job.
Honestly I'd much rather have a pretty fast translation where you get the gist of it rather than waiting 2 months for a chapter that's just way too much effort done. I mean I appreciate it but I feel like people are asking way to much for FANSUBS. I can understand if you just want a pretty, well translated manga when you're the one doing the work but if you're the one complaining that the translations are bad well, you can deal with it or translate it yourself.
I mean the translations given to us aren't usually that bad. LOL
Well anyway your translations aren't as bad as people think they are, they're pretty easy to understand although there are some mistakes but that's okay.
Also this really has nothing to do with what I've been saying, but what's your first language? Haha

  6. Why are there haters? Seriously, sometimes I just want to tell them to put a patatoe in it! And if they dislike your work, WHY DON'T THEY SAY THAT STRAIGHT TO YOU AND TO YOUR FACE?! Like decent people would do.
Please keep up the good work! Since I think the work you have done is wonderful!

  7. And about possible mistakes in your translations: translations ARE BOUND to have AT LEAST one mistake in each of them, since it is not only difficult or not easy, you have to deal with all kinds of interpretations and those are really difficult and a pain! Trust me, I know what I am talking about, since I study languages and history.

    1. EXACTLY!! Because each country has their own cultures in their languages themselves. I can't westernize those Japanese words easily and that is why sometimes I had hard time figuring out what's the most appropriate and suitable words to use to replace them... haa...
